People come and go here so abruptly. Since the whole point is to repent for our sins, does that mean the people who've disappeared leave because they have repented?

Sometimes only to be brought back, with no or little recollection of ever being here in the first place?
It doesn't make any sense.



but, if that's the case- maybe Al's home. Maybe he did something right, and he's gone now.
I just hope wherever he is, he's okay.

If all we have to do is behave and make up for our sins to leave this place, there's really no point trying to -escape- is there?
They'll just bring us back, again.

Of course not.

I promised Winry I wouldn't leave her again, and I don't intend to. I'll stay here as long as I have to, so long as I find a way to get us out of here when the time comes.
