People come and go here so abruptly. Since the whole point is to repent for our sins, does that mean the people who've disappeared leave because they have repented?

Sometimes only to be brought back, with no or little recollection of ever being here in the first place?
It doesn't make any sense.

but, if that's the case- maybe Al's home. Maybe he did something right, and he's gone now.
I just hope wherever he is, he's okay.

If all we have to do is behave and make up for our sins to leave this place, there's really no point trying to -escape- is there?
They'll just bring us back, again.

I don't think we can escape. When my Uncle Peter was here, he tried every day to find places to escape from. He never found any.

It's kind of creepy how that happens. And not to keep bringing up my uncle, but that happened with him. He was here for a little bit of time, then left, and then came back a week or so later. He didn't remember that he was here before.

Damn it all, I realized that people are coming and going and coming again but I didn't think that the same thing could happen to me.

Once I'm out of here, I want it to stay that way. I don't want to think about all the ways they can rearrange my life.

I'm not sure, but I was apparently here beforehand.

I-

I don't remember being here, though.

I'm not sure though, if I had repented.

Who is Al?

I'm sorry to hear about your brother.

...May I ask for your name?

I am Haku. It's good to meet you as well.

You are a good brother, Ed.

You put your brother before yourself.

I see you as a good person.

It seems to me they can pull anyone from that time period to this place. Each time period is like another dimension, at least to me. For the people that has come here once before and doesn't remember, that person could have been pulled here before arriving, or afterwards. I know it sounds strange...

Heh, somehow it makes sense to me.

Don't know. I take it you've been here before.

Feels like time traveling again.

...yes. Actually, I've recently traveled to the past, in my world.

Please, keep this between you and me for now. I have someone else from my world and I don't know how well it will effect his future, at least.

It is possible. My mother built a time machine to send me to the past. Though the change may not change my future, at least 'they'll' have a better future.

Thanks.

Time traveling you have to be careful what you change. Any changes will create a different future, for the better or worst. Guess I'm just saying be careful what you change.

Friends who have fallen dead in my past. They were once called Earth's mightiest warriors. Even Gohon... They all died trying to protect the planet. I'll never forgive them!

It depends, I guess. It's like having myself go back a couple years from my time to prevent my mentore in meeting these monsters and...died. I couldn't do anything back then. In the end, his lost helped me step forward.

Sorry, guess my theories get a bit carried away. I'm Trunks by the way.

You have been behaving better than usual, Fullmetal. Maybe you should give it a try.

Going through these to gather information on different members of this gathering, I seem to be made aware that (at least in some cases), people don't WANT to go back. It certainly seems for me that I would be better off here.

I am one of four remaining Saiyans in existence.

My planet is dust throughout space.

And the local lord in power is a creature named Freeza with enough power to destroy solar systems. Myself? A low level soldier conscripted into his service.

I think I like it a lot better right here.

It would, wouldn't it? I wonder if my answer would be different were Planet Vegeta still orbiting its sun, but then I never was a fan of "what if" questions.
