I can't sleep.


Alchemy doesn't seem to work, here. Not that I thought it would- alchemy's only supposed to work in our world. Would have been nice, though.

I don't understand this place at all, there's been a lot of commotion. I hear people have been switching bodies... but no one's dying, because of it- they just swap. Everything's so strange, here.


Maybe I'm missing something.

Drawing some transmutation circles and going over some stuff might help. It could be good to have the reminder, it's been awhile since I studied different circles. They'll be useless here, anyway - but it might make me feel a bit better.



For now, I think I'll go try sleep again.

It is strange, considering the circumstances. The something you might be missing, is that we are all being subject to the Gods of Purgatoriums whims. The body switching thankfully hasn't affected myself, but I was subject to not being myself - what some refer to as an inverted personality.

All I can say is, be patient in terms of your ....Alchemy, was it? Your powers may be given back at some point while you are here. Until then, patience is something that all of us must hold to.

That... really is strange. Gods- what Gods? Somehow, I think an inverted personality would be worse...

Are you saying these Gods decide to take our abilities and could give them back on a whim?

Forgive me, I'm not sure of the two Gods' names - I believe...their names are Medea, and Asclepius - If I'm not mistaken.

The inverted personality was....worse. There's nothing worse than not....not being who you are, on the inside.

Yes - the Gods give and take our abilities. From what I have recently learned from passing on in this Purgatorium - when we die, we may also lose parts of our memories. It's best you know the truth of this place - rather than finding out before you pass on.

I don't really believe in a God of any sort. Suppose if they can take away our abilities though, might as well try to stay on their good side. I don't intend to die here, or anywhere else - even temporarily. Thank you for the information, though. I'll be sure to keep what you've mentioned in mind.

After a bath? ... Hm. I wonder if the reasons are related.

Alchemy is a science. Back home, we use it to fix things, sometimes. It has a lot of different uses, though.

Alchemy can't fix anything here. I've tried to use it a few times, and it's just... not working. I wish I knew if there was any way to make it work or, what I'm doing wrong.

Hm...if I knew more about Alchemy I can try to help but...hm, it's just confusing.

I don't think even alchemy could do much for that. You're not supposed to use it on living beings.

Do you know if anyone else has changed back, yet?

Oh..its something you can use on stuff but not living stuff. I was taught you can't repair life like you can with a marionette.

Hm...I think I've seen people changing back. I know Misao is still a cute animal. Hehe! But I wanna change back! These tights are annoying!

Right! You have to be willing to give up as much as you're getting back, too. You need to start with all the materials that you plan to use.

If people are changing back, maybe you can find out what they're doing to change back. If a bath triggered it, maybe a bath fixes the problem, too?

Or... it could just be happening randomly. which means- you'll have to wait and see. You could wear something else in the meantime, maybe?
